Today, we introduce MITᴴᴰ Technology. Developed by LABIO, MITᴴᴰ Technology offers high stability and superior delivery efficiency. With its recent patent registration, the technology has been officially recognized for its proprietary innovation.
🧬 What is MITᴴᴰ Technology?
MITᴴᴰ Technology is LABIO’s proprietary next-generation delivery system based on a multi-lamellar vesicle (MLV) structure. It was developed to deliver active ingredients more stably and efficiently deep into the skin.
This structure is formed by the combination of MEL (Mannosyl Erythritol Lipid) derived from Pseudozyma sp. SY16 and phospholipids. MEL is a LABIO-developed ingredient, a naturally derived multifunctional glycolipid obtained from microorganisms, known for its environmentally friendly properties.
💡 Why the MLV Structure Matters
By combining the biocompatible properties of MEL with the multilayered structure of MLV, the formulation forms multiple stable layers that enable high active ingredient loading, excellent moisturizing performance, and superior delivery efficiency. MLVs feature a flexible, multilamellar structure similar to the skin’s natural lipid layers in the stratum corneum, offering outstanding skin affinity and enabling active ingredients to be delivered deeper and retained longer in the skin. This sophisticated skin-mimicking structure has been clearly confirmed through Cryo-TEM analysis.
